Boat Rentals at Brookville Lake
Renting a boat for a fun-filled day at the lake couldn’t be easier. Kent’s Harbor Marina offers speed boats, Premier pontoon boats, Hurricane deck boats, or fishing boats for rent depending on your plans. Large groups are accommodated as comfortably as a small family. Just pack your cooler, bring your sunscreen and towels, grab any toys you might want, and head to the dock. No hauling, launching, or fueling – they take care of all the preliminaries. It’s that easy!
Follow the signs from SR 101 to Segamore Waterfront Resort, coincidentally another excellent option for your vacation. Studio, one- and two-bedroom condos situated right beside the lake are privately owned and available for rent nightly or weekly. Seasonal rates apply.
You’ll turn west on Old Hwy. 101, toward the Fairfield Ramp. Be sure to make a stop at Jay’s Midlake Bait & Tackle Store for fishing necessities, snacks & drinks, ice and sandwiches. Jay’s staff can answer any lake questions you might have, and will be happy to fix you up with all you need for a fantastic time.
As you continue toward the lake, Harbor Links Golf Club is located on your left. Be sure to include time on the course during your stay at Brookville Lake. GM/PGA Professional Wes Widdows offers lessons, and special packages are available including the “Turf & Surf” which combines 18-holes of golf and a boat rental.
Beautiful landscaping and attractive views of the lake are common as you drive back to the Kent’s Harbor Marina dock. Ainsley’s Cafe, also located on the water, has an expanded outdoor dining deck and is a delightful place for a delicious lunch or dinner. A full service menu is available, including steak and seafood, as well as burgers, chicken, pasta, and children’s choices. A wide selection of beverages is also available.
Follow the signs down the hill to the dockside. Unloading your vehicle is conveniently done right at the dock, and you have plenty of space for parking for the day in your choice of lot. Carts are available to help you carry your belongings down to your vessel, or you can just have the strong teens in your group use their muscles. Trash receptacles are readily available.
Once you’ve checked in with the friendly staff, you can choose life jackets for members in your party who are less than 13 years old. Be sure to make one last stop in the clean restrooms before boarding the boat, and this will likely be your first stop after disembarking!
A staff member provides informative instruction in the safety and operation of the vessel which is helpful, and before you know it, you are out on the water with sun on your face and wind in your hair! Plenty of under the seat storage, and a trash can on board, allows you to make sure nothing blows overboard as you are cruising along. A good rule of thumb is either sit on it or stow it away!
As everyone knows, being on the water makes you hungry, and food just tastes better on a boat. So, plan to bring enough snacks and drinks to last for the whole day. Our pontoon had tabletop surfaces that made sandwich preparation easy. We managed to continuously enjoy food throughout the day, so it was a successful outing by my standards.
No matter whether your preference is fishing, tubing, or just cruising along, everyone can have a blast on a rented boat from Kent’s Harbor Marina!
